The Chiltern Centre is an independent company and registered charity. Established in 2004 in response to the needs of local families, the Centre was originally setup to provide essential short break services for children and young people with learning and/or physical disabilities. Today the Centre offers a full spectrum of care services, including provision for those with complex health and medical needs.
Our Mission is ‘to help children and young people with disabilities to live life to the full while providing support to their families in their vital role of caring.’ We fulfil this mission through the provision of individually tailored support packages which meet the specific needs of each child, young person and their family.
We are registered with both Ofsted and The Commission for Social Care Inspection and are dedicated to maintaining a standard of excellence in the provision of care; we were proud to receive an Outstanding Provider award from Ofsted for 2006/7 and 2007//8 further to regulatory inspections.
